How much does a consultation cost?

Consultations, meaning the first meeting with Thorson Law, are free. Fill out the contact form to set up a meeting.

What about the fees?

Attorneys generally work on a contingent fee arrangement for personal injury cases. Because the fees are contingent (instead of hourly), you do not pay attorney fees unless Thorson Law wins the case. Regardless of the outcome, you are always responsible to pay out-of-pocket expenses incurred in the prosecution of your case. These may include filing fees, postage, etc. For winning cases, Thorson Law takes a fee of 33.3% of the award. If the case requires an appeal or re-trial, the fee increases to 40%.

How much money can I get?

Wooah, easy there. Let’s not get ahead of ourselves. Let’s just say Thorson Law has a very good track record and clients have been pleasantly surprised.

I was just in an auto accident. What should I do next?

In the event of an accident, at the scene, ALWAYS call the police. Take pictures and write down each witness’ contact information. Collect a police report and insurance information from all parties involved. If injured, seek medical treatment immediately. Then, contact Thorson Law to discuss possible remedies.

I just got hurt at work. What should I do next?

Notify your employer. Then, immediately seek treatment. Your employer’s insurance provider may recommend a treatment facility. If not, make an appointment with your physician. Then, contact Thorson Law to discuss the possibility of temporary benefits.

What if a loved one has tragically passed away too soon?

Is someone else to blame? If you think so, contact Thorson Law to discuss setting up an estate for the deceased. Thorson Law can then represent the estate for suing those at fault.

Is it really worth the hassle?

Pick up the phone and call Thorson Law today. We make it as easy and straightforward as possible by dealing with all of the insurance and medical providers to provide you justice.

Who pays my medical bills?

It depends on the case. In a worker’s compensation case, the employer’s insurance typically covers all medical expenses throughout the litigation. In a personal injury matter, your insurance should cover your medical expenses. Med-pay is another avenue to supplement costs.
